Side Characters

Lucky
Meet one of the residents of Fernaria: 'Lucky'. The paperboy of Fernaria. Lucky brings news to the residents of Fernaria and he likes to collect lucky pennies. One day he delivers his paper to the prince. He is very lucky because Flint brings him a big bag of coins! Lucky looks up to flint because he must have a lot of lucky pennies inside the castle.
The King
Fernaria ruled by a king who believed that his perfect fairytale kingdom could only be achieved through strict order, everything was designed to be flawless and happy. His reign was built on the idea that pain could be avoided, and joy could only be earned through meticulous control. His son, Flint, is destined to inherit the throne. The king has high expectations for him, knowing that Flint is curious and rebellious—a trait the king couldn't ignore. Deep down, the king fears that something will happen to Flint, that he won't be ready. So, he pushes him harder, demanding perfection in every move, in every thought.
But in his efforts to protect his son and maintain the fairy tale of a flawless kingdom, the king drives Flint further away. The king, obsessed with keeping everything perfect, can't see that his grip on Flint is suffocating. What good is a life built entirely on perfection, where curiosity and individuality and sadness are seen as threats? In his fear, the king created a world that isn't really here.

Kingdom of Fernaria

Fernaria is based in a spring climate and the architecture style is based on nature, flowers, dreams, fantasy & Dutch roofs/towers. And as it says in the name 'Fernaria' its signature fern like curls.
Its buildings are of green, blue and gold. The folkes (froglings) signature colors. Everything is loose and flowing but with a lot of points. This shows its base on nature but a sharp edge and different side.
Fernaria
The frogling's of fernaria's fashion is expressive, odd and whimsical. They wear the signature colors of Fernaria in blues, greens and gold. The fashion is based on nature but also the prosperity and wealth the froglings of Fernaria have.
Every frogling in Fernaria wants to look their best to parade through the kingdom and tribute to that fairytale.

3D Exploration

My first time modeling and sculpting a Character. As a experiment I made Flint in 3D back in 2021.
This was based on his old character design.
